Verizon Wireless 2010 APAHM Concert Tour

New York (May 7, 2010) – The Asian American Heritage Month (APAHM) Tour, featuring international pop icon and actor Van Ness Wu, as well as Asian pop artist Evonne Hsu and turntablist Mike Relm will launch at the Fillmore at Irving Plaza in New York City on Sunday, May 23rd. The five city tour, currently going on its third year, annually showcases international Asian artists and pop culture to commemorate Asian American Heritage month in the U.S.
The New York APAHM Concert, produced and promoted by Rainstone Live, is scheduled to be at The Fillmore in Irving Plaza on Sunday May 23rd at 7:30PM.

This year marks the first year Chinese, Taiwanese and Singaporean artists will collaborate through the APAHM Tour to promote Asian American culture and entertainment in the States.

Taiwanese artist and actor Van Ness Wu will be performing for the New York APAHM Concert as a special guest. Wu, a native Californian, was a member of pop group “F4” in Taiwan before moving on to release multiple successful solo albums as well as collaborations with Beyonce, Coco Lee and Korean artist Kangta. Wu also garnered much attention as an actor through his role in the #1 Taiwanese drama “Autumn’s Concerto” last year.
